Labour Force Development Participation

Muscowpetung Saulteaux Business Developments (MSBD) is preparing to build up the labour force of the Muscowpetung Saulteaux Nation for its partnership with KMS Construction.  We are seeking resumes from those band members who may be interested.

No experience is necessary, only commitment, determination, and drive.

Through this arrangement, MSBD plans to prioritize employment opportunities for band members, though the labour force development efforts will be status blind and open to all Indigenous participants who reach out to us.

KMS Construction provides 35 years of experience in 1.) excavating, 2.) road building, 3.) construction of potable and non-potable water supply pipelines, and 4.) water and sewer installation systems.  KMS Headquarters are located in Tuxford, Saskatchewan with satellite offices/and shops in White City and Dundurn.

The scopes of work include:

1.) Labourers – Seeking able bodied workers.  KMS can provide training for the specific work required;

2.) Pipefitters – Seeking anyone with any expertise in this type of experience.  The activity would include laying the water piping into the ground in sections which require connecting.

3.) Equipment Operators – Seeking anyone with previous operating experience.  We would need to receive resumes.  Once we receive resumes we will then collaborate with KMS to determine where each qualified worker best fits.

All participants will be required to sign an NDA (Non-disclosure Agreement).

Looking for workers who seek a long-term commitment to the MSBD/KMS relationship.

Looking for workers who will commit to the training opportunities provided by MSBD/KMS.

We seek positive individuals who are committed to advancing the socio-economic prospects of the nation.

*Employment is pending the awarding of bids to MSBD/KMS.
